About OCTA:
OCTA provides quality, accessible, cost effective, and safe public transportation for Ottawa County.
OCTA is an agency of Ottawa County government that is operated by a seven member Board of Directors. The 2009 Board is Gerry Arnold, Chair; Jennifer Kirby, Vice Chair; Stephanie Kowal; Bob Eickel; Joe Majce; Lori Clune and Dave Kopchak.
Along with providing general public service, OCTA contracts with the Ottawa County Department of Job and Family Services, the Northwest Ohio Area Office on Aging, Ottawa County Senior Resources, and the Ottawa County Board of MRDD to provide transportation and home delivered meals for their constituency.
OCTA maintains its own vehicles in its maintenance shop and also provides contract maintenance for other county offices as requested.
OCTA is funded by the Federal Transit Administration, the Ohio Department of Transportation, Ottawa County, agency contracts, sold maintenance, advertising, donations and passenger fares.

The Ottawa County Transportation Agency (OCTA) is a general public transit system that provides curb-to-curb, advanced reservation, shared ride service to anyone in Ottawa County who wants transportation for any reason.
OCTA vehicles operate from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
